TLT Manufacturing opened its first Vietnam plant on May 5, 2026 in Tay Ninh. Operating as TLT Electronics Vietnam, the facility adds SMT, THT, laser marking, X-ray inspection and quality control capacity, giving customers an Asian electronics manufacturing option alongside TLT’s European operations.

TLT Manufacturing of Lithuania inaugurated its first plant in Vietnam on May 5, 2026, marking the start of operations for TLT Electronics Vietnam in Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, Tay Ninh province. The factory gives customers an additional electronics manufacturing base in Asia while keeping production processes and quality standards aligned with TLT’s existing operations in Lithuania.

Vietnam becomes TLT’s second-region manufacturing option

The Vietnam facility is positioned as a geographic extension of TLT’s existing manufacturing network, not as a separate standalone operation. For customers, the key value is the ability to expand manufacturing into Asia without onboarding a new supplier or changing the quality system.

This regional expansion supports companies that want to manufacture in Europe, in Asia, or split production between both locations. It also gives customers serving Asian markets a closer production base, with potential benefits in component lead times, input costs and access through Vietnam’s trade agreements, including CPTPP, RCEP and EVFTA.

A European electronics manufacturer with integrated capabilities

TLT is a Europe-based electronics manufacturer with nearly 30 years of experience in integrated manufacturing solutions. Its in-house capabilities cover PCB manufacturing, electronics assembly and plastic injection moulding, allowing the company to manage several key stages of the production process internally.

In Lithuania, TLT has also expanded its High-Tech Hill manufacturing hub in Vilnius. The hub includes TLT PCB, TLT Electronics, TLT Mechanics and an electronics component assembly facility. TLT describes this model as vertically integrated EMS, covering PCB manufacturing, plastics, mechanics, SMT and final product assembly on one campus.

According to the company, the wider Vilnius expansion involves €320 million in total investment, 1,370 new jobs and 82,100 m² of new manufacturing space. With these openings, TLT said its annual capacity rises from 10 million to 30 million electronic devices.

Factory profile and production scope in Vietnam

TLT Electronics Vietnam operates from the A1-2 factory building in Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, My Yen commune, Tay Ninh province. The facility covers approximately 6,500 m² and is equipped for electronics manufacturing services serving consumer electronics and communication equipment.

The plant’s designed capacity includes 1,250,000 consumer electronics products per year and 1,250,000 communication devices per year, each equivalent to 375 tons per year. The project does not include plating, solvent-based or toxic chemical coating, or chemical cleaning processes.

SMT, THT and quality control capacity

The factory is equipped with two SMT lines and two THT lines, supported by laser marking, X-ray inspection and full quality control stages. Its production process covers materials such as electronic components, PCB boards and mechanical parts, followed by laser marking, SMT PCBA assembly, THT or supplementary soldering, board separation and finishing, PCBA testing, final assembly, finished goods inspection and shipment.

The facility starts with around 60 employees and is expected to reach 110 employees by the end of the year. TLT has also confirmed that trial production runs have been successfully completed.

The opening of TLT Electronics Vietnam therefore represents more than a new factory launch. It connects TLT’s European manufacturing platform with regional production demand in Asia, giving customers a two-region manufacturing option under one supplier network.
