BGF-BIGRFEED has opened Phase 1 of its Vinh Long plant and started Phase 2 construction in Vietnam. The project expands livestock, poultry and aquaculture feed capacity in the Mekong Delta, supporting stronger supply coverage in southern provinces and broader industrial growth.

BGF-BIGRFEED has inaugurated Phase 1 of its Vinh Long plant and broken ground on Phase 2, marking a new production base in the Mekong Delta and a broader push into southern Vietnam. The project expands the group’s supply capacity in livestock, poultry and aquaculture feed while adding a new manufacturing platform in Vinh Long Province.

The ceremony took place on the morning of April 22, 2026, alongside the 12th anniversary of BGF Group. Attendees included Hồ Thị Hoàng Yến, member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, as well as representatives from provincial departments, local authorities and BGF agents from inside and outside the region.

A new production base in the Mekong Delta

The BGF-BIGRFEED Vinh Long plant is located at Lot B3 in Hòa Phú Industrial Park. The site covers nearly 3.3 hectares, with total investment of VND500 billion and designed total capacity of nearly 500,000 tons per year. It is the group’s third production facility after plants in Hưng Yên and Bình Định, helping expand supply coverage across the Mekong Delta and southern provinces.

BGF-BIGRFEED operates in green biological high-tech agriculture and integrated food, producing feed for livestock, poultry and aquaculture, along with ready-made food for pet animals. The Vinh Long project therefore strengthens both the group’s manufacturing footprint and its access to major agricultural markets in the south.

Phase 1 builds on an acquired facility

In Phase 1, during 2025, BGF-BIGRFEED acquired an existing factory that already had part of the warehouse system, workshops and an aquaculture feed production line. The group upgraded and repaired the old system while installing an additional new production line. After 10 months of construction, the system was put into operation and moved into the inauguration stage. Phase 1 has total capacity of about 200,000 tons per year.

This first phase shows a practical expansion model. Instead of starting from scratch, the group used an existing industrial asset, improved it and brought it into operation within a relatively short timeline. That approach allows the project to begin serving demand while creating a base for the next round of investment.

Phase 2 adds capacity and automation

After the groundbreaking ceremony, Phase 2 will be developed on the remaining area of the site with total investment of USD15 million. The expansion will add around 15,000 square meters of factory space and install four production lines, including two aquaculture feed systems and two livestock and poultry feed systems.

According to the report at the event, the new lines will be built with synchronized and highly automated systems, from silos and warehousing to robot-assisted production, with the goal of optimizing productivity and improving product quality. The plant is also expected to meet environmental standards under current regulations. Once completed, Phase 2 will bring the plant’s capacity to 300,000 tons per year.
