Luxshare-ICT plans to make extra investment in Bac Ninh

Luxshare-ICT (Vietnam), a key supplier to Apple, has made three investments in Quang Chau, Van Trung, and Nam Son-Hap Linh industrial parks of Bac Ninh, totalling over $1.32 billion with 50,000 workers. The main products are components, parts, earphones, chargers for virtual reality (VR) items, watches, smartphones, among others.

The company said it plans to expand the investment in Nam Son-Hap Linh Industrial Park. However, this industrial park is unable to fulfill the demand of 100 hectares for the expansion. As a result, Luxshare-ICT seeks approval to relocate the project to Que Vo 2 Industrial Park (expansion), which is invested by local firm Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corp (HoSE: KBC).

 

Aqua Vietnam extends investment in southern Vietnam

Aqua Vietnam Co., Ltd. said provincial authorities in Dong Nai have approved the extension of its investment licences for factories located at the Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, committing additional investment of about $75 million.

Aqua Vietnam’s complex at Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park covers 77,466 square meters and produces refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, freezers, televisions, and other household appliances.

The Aqua brand originated in Japan and entered Vietnam in 1996 under the name Sanyo Ha Asean. In 2011, China’s Haier Group acquired Sanyo Ha Asean, including its R&D center, factories, sales network, workforce of 7,000 people, 1,151 intellectual property rights, along with the Aqua brand - a prominent sub-brand of Sanyo in the washing machine sector.

Haier officially launched the Aqua brand in Japan in 2012, and in Vietnam in 2014, replacing the Sanyo name.

As of December 2025, Aqua Vietnam held the largest market share in Vietnam’s washing machine and refrigerator segments, the company said.

Taiwan's UNIVACCO  to establish new manufacturing facility in Southern Vietnam

On February 2, UNIVACCO Technology Inc, a global supplier of vacuum metallised films and coating technologies, announced it had leased nearly 30 hectares of industrial land at Long Thanh Industrial Zone in Dong Nai province to establish a new manufacturing facility.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Taiwan, UNIVACCO produces hot stamping foil, cold foil, and functional vacuum-coated films used in printing, packaging, and advanced materials, with products distributed across markets in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

UNIVACCO’s new facility will be developed in line with global manufacturing standards, incorporating advanced production technologies, optimised logistics and enhanced responsiveness to market demand, particularly in premium packaging, digital applications and environmentally friendly material solutions.

YKK Vietnam Breaks Ground on Its Third Factory in Nhon Trach

On January 29, 2026, YKK Vietnam held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Factory No. 3 project in Nhon Trach, marking an important milestone in the company’s sustainable development journey in Vietnam.

Launch of a 1,500-Hectare High-Tech Integrated Livestock and Agro-Processing Project

On February 3, at Thuan Loi Commune, Dong Nai Province, the launch ceremony was held for the High-Tech Integrated Livestock Production and Agro-Processing Project.

The project covers a total land area of approximately 1,500 hectares, comprising:

  • A high-tech centralized livestock farming zone spanning 410 hectares

  • A feed production and agro-processing zone operating under a closed-loop value chain, covering 76 hectares

  • An area for fruit trees and medicinal plant cultivation totaling 600 hectares

  • A synchronized technical infrastructure system covering 80 hectares

The project is designed to apply advanced technologies across farming, processing, and infrastructure, establishing a large-scale, integrated, and high-efficiency agricultural production model.

Ninh Binh: Groundbreaking of a VND 2.2 Trillion Industrial Park Project

On February 6, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for Phase 1 of the VSIP Nam Dinh Industrial Park project.

Phase 1 of the VSIP Nam Dinh Industrial Park is being developed across Giao Binh Commune and Giao Hung Commune (Ninh Binh Province), with a planned scale of approximately 180 hectares.

The project has a total investment of over VND 2.2 trillion and is invested by Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company (VSIP). The entire infrastructure system is scheduled to be completed by Q4 2027.

 

Bac Ninh: Groundbreaking of a Nearly 355-Hectare Industrial Park Project

On February 5, 2026, Hoa Phat Group (HOSE: HPG) broke ground on the investment, construction, and operation of infrastructure for Dong Phuc Industrial Park in Bac Ninh Province. The project spans nearly 355 hectares, with a total investment exceeding VND 3,730 billion.

Dong Phuc Industrial Park is being developed as a multi-sector integrated industrial park, with a strong focus on green and sustainable industrial development, creating new momentum for investment attraction in Vietnam’s Northern Key Economic Region.

Currently, Hoa Phat Group is operating several industrial parks, including Hoa Mac Industrial Park (Ninh Binh) and Pho Noi A and Yen My II Industrial Parks (Hung Yen). These parks have achieved an average occupancy rate of around 95% of developed industrial land, with Hoa Mac Industrial Park reaching 100% occupancy.

 

Tuyen Quang: Groundbreaking of Phuc Ung 2 Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Project

On February 8, in Son Duong Commune, Phuc Hung Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company and Nhat Tan Trading Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for the investment, construction, and operation of infrastructure for Phuc Ung 2 Industrial Cluster.

The project is being developed in Son Duong Commune, covering an area of 48 hectares, with a total investment exceeding VND 530 billion.

 

BW Breaks Ground on Phase 3 of the BW VSIP Bac Ninh 2 Project

BW has officially commenced Phase 3 of the BW VSIP Bac Ninh 2 Industrial Hub, expanding its ready-built factory portfolio with over 130,000 m² of gross floor area (GFA). The project features multi-storey ready-built factories, designed to support the next wave of high-tech manufacturing.
