Wednesday, 06 May, 2026

Köcher has started building its second kitchen appliance factory in Vietnam at Phu Son Industrial Park. The 25,000m² plant will produce induction cookers, range hoods, dishwashers, and related products, supporting stronger production capacity, quality control, and global market expansion.

Köcher has started construction of its second kitchen appliance manufacturing plant at Phu Son Industrial Park, with a planned area of 25,000m². The project is designed to expand the company’s production capacity, strengthen supply chain control, and support the manufacturing of core kitchen appliance lines for domestic and international markets.

The new factory will focus on major product categories including induction cookers, range hoods, dishwashers, and related kitchen equipment. For Köcher, the project is not only a capacity expansion. It is also part of a broader strategy to build a production platform that can meet international standards and support long-term growth in global markets.

Building a stronger production base

The factory is being developed at Phu Son Industrial Park, which covers around 214 hectares and is planned as a modern industrial zone with environmental and sustainable development standards.

A new Köcher factory in Vietnam signals a stronger push into global kitchen appliance manufacturing.
A new Köcher factory in Vietnam signals a stronger push into global kitchen appliance manufacturing.

Köcher’s investment reflects the company’s intention to become more proactive in production, supply chain management, and product quality control. As competition in the kitchen appliance market increases, manufacturing capability is becoming an important factor for companies that want to maintain product consistency, improve operating efficiency, and respond faster to market demand.

The 25,000m² facility is expected to become a production center for Köcher’s key product lines. By building a dedicated manufacturing base, the company aims to create a more integrated system from production planning to quality supervision.

International standards from the construction stage

A key feature of the project is the integration of technology and international standards from the early stage of factory development. This direction shows that Köcher is not only expanding its physical production scale, but also upgrading its manufacturing quality in a more comprehensive way.

Premium Verified Brands

Before the groundbreaking, Köcher had announced an upgraded partnership with European technology partners, including EuroKera and E.G.O. The factory project is the next step in bringing those strategic partnerships into production activities in Vietnam.

EuroKera will not only supply components, but also take part directly in testing and quality control. Its participation is expected to help maintain technical standards across the production process, from raw materials to finished products.

Alongside this, the factory’s production equipment will be supplied by Schuler Group from Germany. This investment is intended to support production technology standards and operational efficiency during manufacturing.

Quality control and long-term efficiency

The combination of production technology and quality control systems is expected to provide a stronger foundation for Köcher to improve product quality and optimize operations over the long term.

In the next phase, Köcher’s induction cooker products will continue to be evaluated and supervised by international R&D engineers during production at the factory. This is considered an important step to ensure that products meet technical and quality requirements in the kitchen appliance industry.

The new plant also supports Köcher’s ambition to participate more deeply in international value chains. In a market where global integration is becoming more important, a standardized manufacturing platform can help companies access wider opportunities beyond the domestic market.

A platform for global expansion

The second factory represents more than a larger production footprint. It signals Köcher’s long-term direction in building a sustainable manufacturing base supported by international cooperation, modern equipment, and stricter quality management.

With the new facility, Köcher aims to prepare its kitchen appliance products for international standards and future global market development. The project also contributes to the broader positioning of kitchen appliance manufacturing in Vietnam as companies seek to improve production capability and competitiveness.
