A European client is seeking a qualified manufacturing partner based in Vietnam to produce premium die-cast metal aircraft models at 1:500 scale. This project targets long-term cooperation and requires both technical precision and reliable production capability.

Project Scope

The client plans to manufacture two aircraft types, each in quantities of 1,500 units:

1. Aircraft1 

2. Aircraft2

These models are not generic toys—they are collector-grade pieces with strict requirements on scale accuracy, metal quality, paint durability, and precise detailing.

Key Specifications

Material

• Zinc alloy or equivalent metal with strong resistance to oxidation and wear.

Target Weight

• Aircraft1 : ~70 g

• Aircraft2: ~20 g

Scale and Dimensions
Reference dimensions (converted to 1:500 scale) are provided for wingspan, fuselage length, height, and engine diameter.
Manufacturers may make small adjustments during 3D modeling for accuracy and manufacturability.

Liveries

• Each aircraft will be produced in three historical airline paint schemes, requiring consistent mold quality and stable paint application.

Mold Optimization

• The client is open to discussion on whether one base mold can support multiple aircraft variants to optimize tooling costs.

Compliance & Logistics

Manufacturers should be able to:

• Provide product samples before mass production

• Meet EU/US safety standards (EN71, REACH, etc.)

• Support export logistics for shipment to France

• Demonstrate past experience in die-cast, precision metal modeling, or related production
