MediBros built Medibros CNC, a high-tech pharmaceutical plant in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, with VND 250 billion in Phase 1 investment. The GMP-WHO certified facility focuses on herbal medicine, R&D, quality testing, and modern production lines with annual capacity of 500 to 700 million product units.
MediBros is expanding its pharmaceutical manufacturing capability through Medibros CNC, a high-tech facility designed to combine Vietnamese traditional medicine with modern production, quality control, and research systems. The project supports the company’s mission of “Enhancing the quality of life for the community” by building an integrated platform from raw material selection to finished health products.
MediBros High Technology Joint Stock Company was established in 2023 with a strong focus on pharmaceutical production, particularly products derived from medicinal herbs. Medibros CNC was developed as a strategic facility to help the company control the full manufacturing process, from input materials to final products.
The plant is located at Lot CN03, Dong Van I Expanded Industrial Park, Dong Van Ward, Ninh Binh Province. Construction began in June 2024 and was completed in December 2025. The facility was assessed for GMP compliance by the Drug Administration of Vietnam on January 15–16, 2026, and officially received its GMP-WHO certificate on March 19, 2026.
Phase 1 of Medibros CNC has a total investment of VND 250 billion. The facility includes multiple production lines covering herbal processing and extraction, traditional medicine ingredients, medicinal powders and extracts, tablets, granules, powders, film-coated tablets, sugar-coated tablets, hard capsules, hard pills, soft capsules, syrups, solutions, suspensions, and emulsions.
When Phase 1 enters operation, Medibros CNC is expected to reach an annual capacity of 500 to 700 million product units. The plant also includes a 4,000-liter herbal extraction and concentration system, supporting large-scale processing of medicinal materials.
Beyond its main production lines, Medibros CNC has invested in research and development. Phase 1 includes one pilot production line equipped for both laboratory-scale and pilot-scale research, covering most dosage forms produced at the plant. The facility also has sample retention conditions to support product research and stability monitoring.
Quality control is another major investment area. Medibros CNC has a GLP-standard quality testing laboratory with the capacity to evaluate raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products manufactured at the plant. Its GSP-standard warehouse system is designed to meet storage requirements for goods, input materials, auxiliary materials, and finished products. Supporting systems, including purified water production and environmental control, are built to comply with GMP-WHO requirements. Most auxiliary, production, and testing equipment is imported from Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, and China.
Medibros CNC is positioned not only as a manufacturing site but also as a platform for applying pharmaceutical knowledge and traditional Vietnamese medicine in practical product development. The facility has established strategic cooperation with research and treatment institutions, including the Vietnam University of Traditional Medicine and Ho Chi Minh City Traditional Medicine Hospital.
Through these partnerships, Medibros CNC aims to turn scientific research, folk remedies, and medical heritage into accessible products with practical applications. The company also operates through a network of member companies across Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam, supporting distribution and market access.
