Bac Ninh has welcomed a new automotive manufacturing project by Soosan Vina Motor Co., Ltd. at Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park. The project covers about 8 hectares and has total investment capital of more than USD 37.9 million, equivalent to approximately VND 1,000 billion, adding another Korean FDI manufacturing project to the province’s industrial pipeline.
On the afternoon of April 23, 2026, during the State visit to Vietnam by the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung and the First Lady, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance co-chaired and co-organized the Vietnam–Korea Economic Forum in Hanoi.
The forum focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries in industrial development, investment, science and technology. At the event, Bac Ninh province presented investment policy approvals and investment registration certificates for three projects. The Soosan project at Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park was among them.
The investor is Soosan Viet Nam, internationally known as Soosan Vina Motor Co., Ltd. The company is a Korean FDI legal entity operating in Bac Ninh, with tax code 2300284356.
According to the disclosed information, the legal representative is Kang Munjong, General Director, with Korean nationality. The company’s existing head office is located at Hap Linh Industrial Cluster, Hap Linh ward, Bac Ninh province.
The newly registered project is located at Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park, also in Bac Ninh province. The project area is about 8 hectares.
The project’s registered business lines cover the production of trucks, tractors and specialized vehicles. It also includes the manufacturing of trailers, semi-trailers, vehicle bodies, frames, containers and steel structures used in industrial applications.
The total investment capital is more than USD 37.9 million. The disclosed capital contribution is more than USD 12.13 million, accounting for 32 percent of total investment capital.
At the same time, Soosan signed a land sublease contract with KBC to implement the project at Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park.
The Soosan Vina Motor project adds another automotive and industrial component manufacturing project to Bac Ninh’s investment portfolio. With its focus on trucks, tractors, specialized vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers, vehicle bodies, frames, containers and steel structures, the project supports the province’s role as a destination for Korean manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam.
From its existing FDI legal presence in the locality and its new project at Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park, Soosan Vina Motor is expected to contribute further to Bac Ninh’s manufacturing, mechanical engineering and specialized vehicle ecosystem in the coming period.
