Inauguration of Castem Vietnam Precision Mechanical Manufacturing Factory

On January 19, the Castem Vietnam Precision Mechanical Manufacturing Factory was officially inaugurated at Song Khoai Industrial Park, Hiep Hoa Ward.

The project has a total investment of USD 18.6 million and is developed on a 2-hectare site. The factory has been completed and is currently in the trial operation phase, producing high-precision mechanical components using advanced technologies to manufacture complex casting products.

The plant is designed for a total capacity of 6.4 million products per year and will be developed in two phases. Phase 1 is currently operational with a capacity of 3.2 million products per year, while Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in July 2027.

 

INVENTEC Breaks Ground on New Factory in Hanoi

On January 19, 2026, INVENTEC Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new factory project at the South Hanoi Supporting Industrial Park (HANSSIP).

The INVENTEC factory complex will have a total construction area of over 500,000 m² and is expected to create approximately 20,000–25,000 jobs upon completion.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for SEDO Fabric Manufacturing Factory – Dung Quat

On January 21, the groundbreaking ceremony for the SEDO Fabric Manufacturing Factory – Dung Quat project was held at the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park, Tho Phong Commune, Quang Ngai Province.

This marks Phase 2 of the project, which is being developed on an estimated land area of approximately 15 hectares.

Previously, Phase 1 was implemented in 2023 on a land area of around 10 hectares.
 

Inauguration of Yaskawa Factory

On January 23, at Song Khoai Industrial Park, Yaskawa Electric Corporation (Japan) held the inauguration ceremony for Yaskawa Vietnam Factory.

The Yaskawa Vietnam factory has been under development since early 2024, with a total investment of USD 49.2 million, built on a 6.3-hectare site within Song Khoai Industrial Park. The facility specializes in the processing and assembly of electronic circuit boards, with a designed capacity of 672,000 products per year.

Yaskawa Vietnam is part of Yaskawa Electric Corporation, a Japanese group specializing in industrial automation equipment. In 2024, as part of its global expansion strategy, the group selected Quang Ninh Province as a strategic location for its manufacturing investment.

 

Groundbreaking Ceremony for MEGA TEXTILE – Vietnam Project

The Mega Textile – Vietnam project is being developed in Tan Chau Commune, Nghe An Province, within Tho Loc Industrial Park – Phase 1 (VSIP Nghe An 2 Industrial Park). The project has a total investment of USD 590 million (approximately VND 14,775.9 billion) and covers an area of over 51 hectares.

Nghe An is the second province in Vietnam where Best Pacific Group has invested, following its earlier investment in the former Hai Duong Province.

 

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Wood Pellet Fuel Production Project

On January 20, Planted Forest Biomass Quang Tri Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Wood Pellet Fuel Production Factory project.

The factory is being developed at Hai Chanh Industrial Cluster, Nam Hai Lang Commune, Quang Tri Province. Its main product is wood pellets, with a designed capacity of 192,000 tons per year. The project has a total investment capital of VND 410 billion and is scheduled for completion and operation in October 2026.

Siba Group Inaugurates High-Tech Mechanical Manufacturing Factory

On the morning of January 20, 2026, Siba High-Tech Mechanical Engineering Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: SBG) officially inaugurated the Siba HCMC High-Tech Mechanical Factory. This is the company’s second high-tech manufacturing facility to come into operation, following its Bac Lieu factory.

According to available information, the new factory has a total floor area of over 30,000 m² and a total investment of VND 625 billion. The facility is expected to contribute nearly VND 1 trillion in annual revenue to the company..

In particular, Siba Group’s mechanical engineering segment is projected to generate close to VND 2 trillion in revenue in 2026, driven primarily by the combined contribution of the Bac Lieu factory and the Siba HCMC High-Tech Mechanical Factory.

WHA Smart Technology Industrial Park 2 – Thanh Hoa to Break Ground in Q1 2026

The project received investment policy approval and investor approval on May 14, 2025. It will be developed in Thieu Quang Commune, covering an area of 174.9 hectares, with a total investment of VND 1,450 billion.

The project investor is WHA Industrial Zone Thanh Hoa Joint Stock Company, a member of WHA Group (Thailand).

This is the second industrial park project by WHA in Thanh Hoa, following WHA Smart Technology Industrial Park 1, which broke ground on October 14, 2025 (with a scale of over 178 hectares and a total investment exceeding VND 1,320 billion).

Phu Tho to Develop a New Industrial Park of Over 400 Hectares

The Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee has approved the investment policy for the Phu Ninh Industrial Park, located across Dan Chu Commune and Phu Ninh Commune. The project has a total planned area of nearly 410 hectares, of which 400 hectares are designated for industrial land, with the remainder allocated to transport infrastructure.

The project’s total investment capital is nearly VND 2.6 trillion, including approximately VND 400 billion in investor equity. It will have an operating term of 50 years, with operations expected to commence in Q4 2026 and full completion targeted for 2030.

The approved investor is Viglacera Phu Tho Joint Stock Company, a member of Viglacera Corporation

In the same area, Viglacera has already developed Phu Ha Industrial Park – Phase 1, covering more than 350 hectares with a total investment exceeding VND 1.8 trillion. To date, this project has attracted over USD 1.3 billion in total investment and created employment for more than 36,000 workers.

 

Three Industrial Parks Near Long Thanh Airport to Break Ground in March 2026

The Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee concluded that, regarding preparations for the groundbreaking of industrial park projects, the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones will take the lead, coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to ensure all conditions are met for project commencement.

The three industrial parks scheduled to break ground are:

  • Long Duc 3 Industrial Park, with a planned area of over 244 hectares, on March 1, 2026
  • Bau Can – Tan Hiep Industrial Park (Phase 1), covering 1,000 hectares, on March 15, 2026
  • Xuan Que – Song Nhan Industrial Park, also covering 1,000 hectares, on March 30, 2026

All three projects are located near Long Thanh International Airport, reinforcing Dong Nai’s role as a key industrial and logistics hub in Southern Vietnam.
